Job description

In this fantastic new role, you will be accountable for streamlining data privacy operations, minimising work duplication globally, and expediting business-sponsored programmes, therefore relevant experience is essential. This role focuses on mitigating risks related to customer data breaches and other privacy concerns, ensuring compliance with Global Data Management Policies, ultimately enhancing customer trust and the value of data., * Provide subject matter expertise on data privacy and protection laws to stakeholders, utilising the mandatory data controls and communicating data risk policies.

  • Oversee DataVisa operations, including Privacy Impact Assessments, Transfer Impact Assessments and High-Risk Processing Reviews, helping to ensure user proficiency and accurate case input.
  • Proactively identify data privacy risks, issues, and control gaps, agreeing on action plans for timely mitigation and escalating where appropriate.
  • Support the development and implementation of data privacy controls ensuring compliance across global business requirements.
  • Stay informed on legislative requirements, conduct gap analysis, and assist remedial work programmes.
  • Enhance awareness of UK GDPR and other evolving data privacy regulations for the UK Business
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication to engage stakeholders.
  • Foster an inclusive environment promoting growth and empowerment, embedding a ‘speak up’ culture.
  • Develop training and educational materials.
