The successful applicant should have a strong theoretical background and proven hands-on experience with enabling on-device AI using modern software engineering best practices.

Must have experience and skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in C++ and Python with a strong foundation in software design, development, and optimization.
• Knowledge of deep learning and ML frameworks ( i.e. PyTorch ).
• Strong software design skills with a focus on usability.
• Hands-on experience in low-level system debugging, performance tuning, memory analysis, and native inference driver development/debugging.
• Experience in Embedded Software development.
• At least 3 years of work experience in a relevant field.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience with Android development, including Java, JNI, NDK, and native framework integration.
• Knowledge of Generative AI ( GenAI ) technologies.
• Knowledge of neural network model optimization and on-target deployment is a plus.
• Previous experience with Docker, Git and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of NPUs / ML accelerators.
• Knowledge of modern Generative AI architectures, including LLMs, VLMs, inference pipelines, and model deployment, is a strong plus., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $140,800.00 - $211,200.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
