SAP S4 - Principal Technology Engineer (Hybrid)

Conceive, design, engineer, and implement enterprise-level software and technology solutions for end-to-end Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) /Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business problems withinSAP S4.Responsible fortranslation ofbusiness requirements into technical solutions. Generate related proposals and lead those efforts. Investigate,identify, and implement technology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains in Business Technology Solutions (BTS) and across Source-to-Pay (S2P) functional areas. Act asa lead in your area of expertise and critically evaluate relevant technological advances and integrate this knowledge into new business technologysolutions., * Effectively function as the SAP S4Principal Engineer, generating new technological proposals and leading those efforts. Anticipate and critically evaluate technological advances or competitive threads and respond withappropriate newstrategies.

• Serve as functional and technical lead for P2P encompassing, but not limited to, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order (PO), PO Form,e-Form, Invoices, Non-PO (ACR), Procurement BW, RTR related P2P objects, Interfaces, Testing, E2E integration and connected applications,e-Invoicing, software development lifecycle (SDLC), ITGC (controls)
• Demonstrate creative out of the box thinking to solve difficult problems and championnew technologiesto achieve project goals.
• Demonstrate mastery across a wide range of technologies and platforms related to software design and development, programming languages, data integration, data warehousing, data analysis, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloudenvironments.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare business andutilizethis knowledge in the rapid advancement of agile, impactful, and cost-effectivesolutions.
• Recognized and south out as an export in your discipline within the company andexternally.
• Shaperelationships with affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, and industry peersin accordance withAbbVie values, Vendor Management office, and Procurement to further the mission, vision, and goals of the organization.
• May mentor/supervise a team of one or more and guide and evaluate the performance of those individuals; is accountable for the effective performance of the team/individuals.
• Keep executive leadership,peersand staff informed through effective verbal and written communication.
• Understand and adhere to corporatestandardregardingapplicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety,GxPcompliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8years experience;Master’s Degreewith 7years experience; PhD with 3years experience.
• Minimum 3-5+ years experience in SAP S4.
• Indepth knowledge of the systems development life cycle with SAP, clientareasfunctions and systems, and systems application program development technological alternatives.
• Techno-functional SAP MM experience for R2P/P2P full software development lifecycle.
• Demonstratedability to function as aprincipalinvestigator, generating original technical ideas and software development strategies.
• Demonstrated creative ‘out of the box’ thinking to solve difficult technical problems and championnew technologiesto achieve project goals.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills, asdemonstratedby presenting at leading scientific or technical conferences.
