Job description

Purpose and Impact: Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a Network Technician Site Lead to lead site surveys and installation activities supporting the Skywalker program. The Network Technician Site Lead will be responsible for conducting site surveys, creating survey reports and BOMs, and serving as the installation lead for each installation planned under the contract. The Network Technician Site Lead will be required to have multiple years of experience surveying facilities for WIDS-specific security system deployment, developing bills of material, installing WIDS, and managing personnel in an installation environment. Experience developing CAD drawings for wireless security systems and presenting site plans is expected.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to assess facility requirements and installation readiness.
  • Develop site survey reports, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and installation documentation.
  • Lead installation teams during WIDS deployment activities.
  • Coordinate with Program Management, engineering personnel, and customer representatives throughout the installation process.
  • Develop and review CAD drawings and site layouts supporting WIDS installations.
  • Ensure installations comply with engineering standards, security requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Monitor installation progress and resolve field issues to maintain project schedules.
  • Review completed installation documentation and report deployment status to Program Management.
  • Maintain accountability for installation quality, safety, and configuration management at assigned sites.

Requirements

  • Experience conducting site surveys for WIDS or similar technical security system deployments.
  • Knowledge of WIDS installation practices, structured cabling, and secure facility requirements.
  • Experience developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical installation documentation.
  • Experience developing and interpreting CAD drawings and site layouts.
  • Ability to lead installation teams and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel worldwide.

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Poly

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience conducting site surveys and system installations.
  • Minimum of three (3) years leading technical installation teams in DoD and/or Intelligence Community environments.

Required Certifications:

Preferred Qualifications: CISSP
