Job description
- Represent the relevant business function in ERP design workshops
- Provide expert knowledge of current business processes and future-state requirements
- Ensure ERP solutions comply with relevant legislation and Council policies
- Support data migration, including data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
- Prepare and carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios and scripts
- For Payroll roles, support the delivery of Payroll Parallel Runs
- Review and approve functional specifications, configuration, and design documents for the relevant business area
- Support business readiness activities, including:
- Change impact assessments
- Process mapping
- Communications planning and delivery
- Business readiness planning
- Training preparation and delivery
- Promote business readiness and user adoption of the new ERP solution
- Provide post-go-live support during the Hypercare period
- Build knowledge of the new ERP solution to support the business after implementation and ongoing continuous improvement
- Build and maintain effective relationships with service users, business stakeholders, the System Implementer (SI), and Business Integrator (BI)
- Support the Business Lead as required
- Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required
Requirements
- Proven experience and strong knowledge in the relevant business/function area
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Effective stakeholder relationship management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to motivate others to work efficiently whilst maintaining appropriate duty of care
- Strong commitment to customer service and achievement of service objectives
