Job description

  • Represent the relevant business function in ERP design workshops
  • Provide expert knowledge of current business processes and future-state requirements
  • Ensure ERP solutions comply with relevant legislation and Council policies
  • Support data migration, including data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
  • Prepare and carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios and scripts
  • For Payroll roles, support the delivery of Payroll Parallel Runs
  • Review and approve functional specifications, configuration, and design documents for the relevant business area
  • Support business readiness activities, including:
  • Change impact assessments
  • Process mapping
  • Communications planning and delivery
  • Business readiness planning
  • Training preparation and delivery
  • Promote business readiness and user adoption of the new ERP solution
  • Provide post-go-live support during the Hypercare period
  • Build knowledge of the new ERP solution to support the business after implementation and ongoing continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with service users, business stakeholders, the System Implementer (SI), and Business Integrator (BI)
  • Support the Business Lead as required
  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required

Requirements

  • Proven experience and strong knowledge in the relevant business/function area
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to motivate others to work efficiently whilst maintaining appropriate duty of care
