IT Engineer

• Supporting regional team and GHQ IT to deliver Global IT services & improvements to region.
• Hardware support for staff.
• Independently managing IT projects from order to delivery.
• Documentation and development of IT systems and processes.
• Provide application support, change control and lifecycle management of core platforms and business processes.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or 5 or more years of IT support experience.

LANGUAGES: FluentEnglish

EXPERIENCES:

• Experience in troubleshooting Windows applications, with experience of working with server operating systems and basic networking.
• A basic understanding of at least one programming language.
• SQL knowledge. (MSSQL and/or MySQL).
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
• Understanding business requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and experience of interacting with people at all levels.

OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS

• A proactive flexible attitude and fast learner with a passion for IT.
• Ability to analyse and solve complex problems using tools and techniques to define root cause and proactive countermeasure for aiding continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize your own workload.
• Working experience in automotive parts manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
