Security Estimator

• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed system takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Develop bid proposals and project budgets
• Quantify and scope system components including access control devices, cameras, and supporting infrastructure
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on pricing, product selection, and system design
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs
• Support project handoff to operations teams upon award
• Maintain accurate estimating records and track bid outcomes

Do you have experience in Working on construction estimation projects?, Required:

• 3-5+ years of experience estimating electronic security or access control systems
• Strong knowledge of electronic security and network-based systems
• Experience integrating door hardware with access control systems
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• Experience with Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon, or Honeywell systems
• Experience in commercial or industrial construction environments
