Full Stack Engineer

Marathon TS is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join an innovative software development team supporting a cutting-edge technology initiative in Dayton, Ohio. This role is ideal for software engineers with 3 to 6 years of experience who enjoy building scalable, cloud-native applications using modern technologies., * Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java and related enterprise technologies

• Develop responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and technical stakeholders
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
• Contribute to application architecture, design decisions, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 3 to 6 years of professional software development experience

• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming using Java or similar enterprise languages such as C#, Kotlin, or Scala
• Experience building modern web applications using frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or comparable front-end technologies
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, * Experience developing cloud-native applications and microservices
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development
• Experience working in highly collaborative Agile software development environments
• Interest in solving complex technical problems using modern engineering practices, * Bachelor’s (Required)
