Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help modernize enterprise applications supporting our Life Insurance Solutions business. In this role, you’ll design and build scalable applications, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth., * Design, develop, test, and deploy modern full-stack applications and RESTful APIs.

Build scalable, event-driven solutions using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Develop responsive user interfaces with Vue.js.
Create containerized applications using Docker (Kubernetes experience is a plus).
Work with SQL databases including SQL Server and DB2 to design and optimize data solutions.
Deploy and support applications in AWS (Azure experience is a plus).
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and business partners in a SAFe Agile environment.
Participate in code reviews, pair programming, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor teammates and contribute to technical documentation and engineering standards.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide production support.

Requirements

5+ years of experience developing enterprise software applications.
Strong experience with Java, REST APIs, and modern software architecture.
Experience with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript framework.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD practices.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services; Azure experience is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments using Jira and Confluence.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
A passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving engineering practices.
