Systems Administrator

Temporary ongoing position for a Systems Administrator based in Swineshead. Hours of Work are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

This office based role will encompass

• Managing a small parts store ensuring stock control and replenishment is maintained at optimum level.
• Propose and implement new admin procedures “if required” to deliver a smooth-running system where you see fit.
• Operate a min/max process on all goods held adjusting for seasonal variations etc
• Identify potential suppliers / set up supply contracts.
• Liaise with suppliers, negotiate prices and ensuring deliveries are made “on time”.
• Liaise with customers ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner and obtaining purchase order numbers for completed work.
• Liaise with and dispatching to our own team of engineers, parts to ensure they are able to carry out their tasks.
• Complete monthly stock checks.

• Previous experience within an administrative position.
• PC literate, comfortable with Excel. (Training will be given on the company’s internal software).
• Comfortable dealing with suppliers and customers on the phone and face to face.
• Experienced in setting up and maintaining systems.
• Have a “tidy mind”.
• Be a good team player. With a can-do attitude.
