Fiber / Network Field Technician (FTTH, Wireless, VoIP)

• Fiber construction and FTTH installations
• Splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber lines
• Operating heavy equipment
• Climbing to extended heights
• Wireless point-to-point installs and alignment
• Router and network equipment setup
• VoIP phone system installation and service
• Running and terminating CAT5/CAT6 cabling
• Running and terminating other low voltage cable.
• Troubleshooting service issues in the field
• Other assigned technical duties

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Outdoor work?, * Experience in fiber, telecom, or network field work

• Some working knowledge of heavy equipment operation
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, routers, etc.)
• Comfortable working outdoors and using tools

Not required - Nice to Have

• Fiber splicing/testing experience
• Wireless (PTP/PTMP) experience
• VoIP system experience
• Access control, cameras, or low-voltage wiring experience
• Operating mini excavators and HDD
• Knowledge of underground fiber and OSP, * Fiber Optic Installation: 1 year (Required)
• Low Voltage Cable: 1 year (Required)
• Networking: 1 year (Required)
• Fiber Splicing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Wireless PTP/PTMP: 1 year (Preferred)
• VoIP: 1 year (Preferred)
• CCTV: 1 year (Preferred)
• Access Control: 1 year (Preferred)
• Heavy Equipment Operation: 1 year (Preferred)
