Job description

We are hiring Fiber Network Technicians to assist with day-to-day field operations involving fiber optic installation, service support, maintenance, and network troubleshooting.

This position involves working in different outdoor and customer-facing environments while completing assigned technical tasks according to company procedures and safety expectations. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain service quality while supporting ongoing telecommunications projects and network expansion activities. This is a full-time W-2 employment position offering long-term work opportunities within a growing telecommunications environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, maintenance, and service activities efficiently and accurately
  • Complete and maintain required work orders, technical documentation, and production records
  • Report time, materials, test results, and job-related data in accordance with company procedures
  • Perform all work in compliance with company standards, client specifications, and quality requirements
  • Support quality control processes and address identified issues as required
  • Follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and site-specific safety protocols
  • Protect client and third-party property and promptly report any damage, incidents, or service interruptions
  • Properly use, maintain, and return company tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Company vehicle operation?, Previous experience in telecommunications, fiber infrastructure, construction support, or technical field services preferred

  • Familiarity with fiber optic systems, installation environments, or low-voltage applications is beneficial.
  • Ability to operate standard field tools, handheld devices, and work-related equipment - General understanding of networking principles and communication systems Good organizational abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently or within a field team environment Valid driver’s license required

Additional Requirements

  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Have access to a truck, van, or SUV suitable for field work
  • Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
  • Maintain and use the required tool set for the position
