Night Shift EPMS/BMS Support Technician

We are currently hiring a Shift EPMS Support Technician to join our team in Abilene, Texas. This is a night shift position

Shift Schedule:

• Sunday- Tuesday- 12 hour work day 6pm-6am
• Wednesday- 6 hour work day 12pm-6pm, * Monitor and support EPMS/BMS systems using Ignition SCADA.
• Troubleshoot Rockwell Automation PLCs supporting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain Stratix industrial switches and DLR network communications.
• Support Distech Controls BMS for HVAC and environmental systems.
• Respond to alarms, perform fault diagnostics, and restore system functionality.
• Execute preventive maintenance, backups, and minor configuration changes.
• Support commissioning, testing, and integration of new equipment.
• Follow change management, safety, and data center operating procedures.

• You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
• Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Electrical Power Management System (EPMS) and integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP).

• Experience working with major BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, and backup power systems (UPS, generators).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across trades and disciplines.
• Experience supporting EPMS/BMS systems in a data center or critical facility environment.
• Proficiency with Ignition EPMS/BMS SCADA platforms.
• Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with Distech Controls BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot alarms, communications, and control system faults.
• Understanding of change management, MOPs/SOPs, and electrical safety practices.
