Data Center Operations Technician - Associate (night shift)

The Data Center Operations Technician is responsible for the safe operation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of critical data center infrastructure. This role supports high-availability environments by operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and control systems, while collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to mitigate risk, resolve issues, and continuously improve operational performance. This position reports directly to the Manager - Technology Operations Support.

• College, vocational or trade school certification, or equivalent schooling in a related field (mechanical, electrical, electronics, data center operations).
• 2+ years’ experience in an industry that includes operations & maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire and life safety systems.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and utilizing computer systems for information sharing., * 5+ years’ experience in a critical operations environment, preferably in the data center industry.
• Experience scheduling and planning maintenance for large-scale, complex systems in an operations environment.Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Method of Procedures (MOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), and their application to work orders.
