Network Architect Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design and deploy IP technologies across multiple vendors to support Frontier’s service offerings. You will work within a cross-functional team to shape network strategies that balance performance with business needs. You’ll tackle complex troubleshooting and document architectures, contributing to cost-effective, scalable solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Support configuration, deployment, and administration of Frontier IP, Access and Video Networks * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software network issues * Create procedures for configuring and testing network elements * Develop testing/documentation for network devices and architectures * Develop test plans for evaluating new technologies or features * Collaborate with Network Operations to aid troubleshooting and long-running projects Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience * Minimum 5 years in IP networking with routing protocols * Experience collaborating with multiple departments on financial models and business cases for network designs * Deep knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS (LDP/RSVP), VRRP/HSRP/GLBP, Multicast (PIM/IGMP), QoS, HTTP, SSL, VOIP * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Key requirements * Salary range: 120,000-145,000 * PTO and holidays * Day one medical/dental/vision * 401k with 50% match on 6% * Tuition assistance * Parental leave and caregiver leave
