Job description

Business Intelligence & Advanced Visualization

  • Architect and maintain dashboards using Power BI (strongly preferred) and reports using SAP Advanced Reporting
  • Transform complex statistical findings into clear, persuasive narratives that drive decision-making for Leadership, Client and Operational Teams

Technical Automation & Data Engineering

  • Utilize tools such as Python, R and Power Automate to build robust analytics pipelines and automated workflows.
  • Leverage Jotform (or similar tools) to create streamlined, front-end data collection interfaces that ensure data quality at the source.
  • Apply familiarity with predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and statistical modeling to identify business risks and opportunities.

AI-Assisted Analytics & Productivity (GenAI)

  • Identify and implement AI-assisted opportunities in analytics and application workflows Use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or comparable platforms) to accelerate routine tasks, summarizing requirements, generating documentation, and creating first-pass visual/narrative options-while applying analyst judgment .
  • Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, and completeness; independently reproduce key calculations/logic and maintain an auditable trail of assumptions and changes.
  • Follow data privacy, security, and compliance requirements when using AI (e.g., avoid entering PHI/PII into non-approved tools; use our client’s approved environments).
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities for responsible AI adoption (e.g., automated narrative insights, anomaly triage, data quality checks) and help establish team standards and prompt patterns.

Data Governance, Quality & Observability

  • The “Trust but Verify” Standard: Execute high-fidelity data cleaning and validation with a meticulous approach to ensure 100% accuracy in reporting and imports.
  • Implement monitoring frameworks to maintain data quality and lineage.
  • Maintain exhaustive documentation of data logic, process flows, and metadata to ensure transparency and reproducibility across the team.

Operational Excellence & Leadership

  • Drive strategic reimbursement optimization by leveraging a data-informed approach to identify opportunities
  • Actively participate in issue management activities, to resolve complex data discrepancies effectively and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Act as a consultant rather than a “ticket-taker,” uncovering the “why” behind data requests to ensure solutions solve the actual business problem.
  • Juggle multiple high-priority workstreams using Asana, providing proactive updates on project timelines and shifting due dates well in advance of deadlines.
  • Coordinate seamlessly across Data Analytics, System Development, Operations and Client Success teams.
  • Provide constructive feedback and peer reviews for junior analysts, focusing on both technical accuracy and the clarity of their presentations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project team coordination?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Power BI, SAP Advanced Reporting, or comparable enterprise BI platforms

  • Python or R, and Power Automate for analytics, automation, and data quality workflows
  • Jotform or similar tool for No-Code Data Engineering and Streamlined Data Collection
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics, anomaly detection, or statistical modeling
  • Practical proficiency with AI-assisted analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or similar) and strong ability to validate outputs, protect sensitive data, and apply responsible-use guidelines
  • Data quality validation and monitoring tools (e.g., Great Expectations or similar frameworks)
  • Agile or hybrid work management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)
  • Experience coordinating work across Data Analytics, Development, and Operational And Client Success teams
  • Data Storytelling for Non-Technical Audiences
  • High Attention to Detail

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or corresponding experience required
  • Minimum of 3+ years of data analytics experience
  • Expertise in our client’s SBS systems, such as UBS, EasyTrac, and Claiming System is a plus
  • Minimum of 3+ years of data analytics experience

Shift: M-F 9:00am - 6:00pm EST with a 1-hour lunch break

The Data Analytics Lead will be a key member of the Fee-for-Service (FFS) Operations team within the School Based Services (SBS) Center of Excellence (COE). This role must effectively integrate capabilities in data analytics and process improvement, collaborating with Client Success, Technology, Program Integrity, and other Operations staff (e.g., those focused on Claiming and Client Operations) to continually improve how we access, interpret, and act on our data. This position reports to the SBS COE FFS Data Analytics Director.
