Associate Assistive Technology Trainers - Neurodiversity

The ability to troubleshoot both software difficulties if required.

Creating effective lesson plans with clear objectives to embed learning.

Developing handouts and backup notes for a student to revisit at point of need.

Ability to empathise and actively listen to our customers.

Ensuring that GPDR is maintained at all times.

To ensure you keep up with your CPD to enable you to perform your training and deliver at a high level of expertise.

Experience & Qualifications

Teaching Qualification (desirable) or willingness to work towards this qualification.

Track record of proactively working with Assistive Technology to meet their individual needs.

Relevant experience working as an Assistive Technology Trainer Exceptional IT skills, including delivery of Assistive Technology software and Microsoft packages.

Ability to support students with different Neurodiverse, mental, or physical health challenges

Excellent time management and planning skills.

Proficient at organising own diary and completing paperwork in a timely manner.

Effective communicator: Friendly, patient and encouraging. Ability to motivate others to achieve.

Proof of ongoing CPD and development; full accreditation on DSA assistive software packages (where applicable).

Other

DBS check required for working with vulnerable adults and young people.
