Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Developer to join our vibrant technology team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable TypeScript services and modern React applications that drive our business forward. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about clean architecture and problem-solving, this opportunity is perfect for you!, * Develop, test, and deploy backend services using TypeScript and Nest.js within a microservices architecture.

  • Build responsive front-end applications with Next.js (React).
  • Design and develop well-structured REST APIs, applying patterns such as SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture, CQRS, and TDD/BDD.
  • Model and optimise data using PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM, with Redis caching and Kafka for event-driven workflows.
  • Containerise and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM).
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and AWS tooling, and write automated tests using Jest and Playwright.
  • Implement secure authentication with JWT and OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and instrument services for observability with OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch.
  • Integrate payment gateways and third-party APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, follow Git branching and review practices, and use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with Nest.js (Node.js) and 5+ years with Next.js (React).
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript across backend and front-end.
  • Proven experience designing REST APIs within a microservices architecture, applying patterns such as SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture, CQRS, and TDD/BDD.
  • Strong PostgreSQL skills, including Prisma ORM and Redis caching.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / AWS) and automated testing (Jest, Playwright).
  • Working knowledge of Kafka, security fundamentals (JWT, OAuth2/OpenID Connect), and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch).
  • Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs; comfortable with AI-assisted development tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
