Job description

You’ll be responsible for the design, development, verification and deployment of computer vision algorithms and software, contributing to challenging applications involving object detection, tracking and 6DoF pose estimation.

Working alongside engineers across software, systems, GNC and other technical disciplines, you’ll have the opportunity to take algorithms from initial concept through validation and integration into complex autonomous systems.

The Role

  • Design and develop computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking and 6DoF pose estimation.
  • Contribute to computer vision subsystem architectures, requirements and performance budgets.
  • Support the verification and validation of algorithms, including performance assessment and requirements verification.
  • Support hardware-in-the-loop and integrated system testing.
  • Work with camera and LiDAR sensing technologies, supporting hardware selection and integration.
  • Support the integration of computer vision algorithms into embedded and flight software.
  • Collaborate closely with Systems, GNC, Flight Dynamics and Software teams.
  • Conduct research into emerging computer vision technologies and assess their application to future systems.
  • Contribute to the development of robust and reliable solutions for demanding operational environments., This website uses cookies to improve your experience while you navigate through the website.
