Full Stack Web Developer

You will have a proven interest and ability in developing software systems where your responsibilities will include developing software, refactoring code, designing systems and working on solutions.

Day to day activities will involve:

· Creating or extending WebAPIs with a focus on SOLID principles

· Consuming our WebAPIs through React front end applications

· Authoring unit tests

· Collaborating in a self organizing Scrum team including participating in the daily standup, planning and retrospective meetings

· Working iteratively to deliver minimum viable product or extend features to meet business needs.

· WebAPI, Entity Framework, SQLServer, Postgres

· React

· RESTful APIs

· N-tier architecture

· Unit testing and (XUnit, Moq)

· GIT

· Strong OO understanding

· SOLID design patterns

· Good communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively within an agile team

· A strong commitment to staying up to date on the latest technologies

Desirable Experience

· Interest in the transport and mapping sector

· Experience working with GIS frameworks and/or libraries

· Communicating software designs using UML

· AWS, Docker

· Open layers library

· Desktop Technologies (WinForms, WPF, UWP, Windows Services)

· Writing software for cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)

We are looking for someone with 2+ years experience; however would consider someone with less experience based on their portfolio.
