Cloud Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and solutions-oriented Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role will play a key part in modernizing technology environments, improving system reliability, enhancing security, and supporting business-critical applications in a scalable cloud ecosystem., + Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Automate cloud provisioning, deployment, and configuration management processes.

• Monitor cloud resources, performance, and capacity to ensure optimal system health.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to support application deployments and cloud integrations.

• Implement cloud security controls, governance policies, identity management, and compliance standards.

• Configure and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, networking, and application performance issues.

• Support cloud migration projects, including workload assessments and transition planning.

• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend enhancements to existing environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with public cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and enterprise-level cloud operations. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic cloud initiatives while ensuring high availability and performance across cloud environments., + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, virtualization, storage, and compute services.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.).

• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments.

• Understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and access controls.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities., + Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized workloads.

• Familiarity with cloud monitoring and observability tools.

• Experience supporting hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
