Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP FICO implementation and support projects, managing teams across onshore, offshore, and nearshore delivery models.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) and Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) processes.
  • Manage integrations and configurations for Multi Bank Connector (MBC), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Treasury modules.
  • Oversee core Finance functions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific taxation processes including VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax (WHT).
  • Drive Controlling processes such as Cost Element Accounting (CEA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), and Overhead Cost Allocation & Settlements.
  • Support Real Estate Management, Contracting & Leasing, and Asset Accounting functionalities.
  • Manage Project System (PS) and Time Writes across multiple country-specific processes.
  • Implement and maintain Substitution, Validation rules, and BRF+ configurations.
  • Monitor and optimize workflow processes and job scheduling for finance operations.
  • Lead S/4HANA integrations with third-party applications including Concur, Uber, Bright Logistics, Serraview, SNOW, Unifier, Reuters, Vertex, SuccessFactors, Blackline, Datam8, etc.
  • Understand and support custom business processes tailored to client-specific needs.
  • Ensure seamless FICO integration with other SAP modules such as C&P, HR, Logistics, EAM, Group Reporting/Consolidation, CPI, and SuccessFactors.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant to drive implementation and support projects across global delivery models. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, including advanced functionalities such as Joint Venture Accounting (JVA), Treasury, and Real Estate Management. This role demands strong leadership, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to manage complex integrations with third-party applications in an S/4HANA environment. The consultant will play a key role in finance transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance, performance, and seamless cross-functional integration., * Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance

  • Proven track record in architecture leadership roles
  • Extensive experience with S/4HANA, including finance transformation projects
  • Deep understanding of SAP FICO architecture, configuration, and integration points
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury, Banking, and Taxation modules
  • Experience with BRF+, Substitution/Validation rules, and workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and custom process design
  • Ability to manage global delivery teams and multi-country implementations
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance or Treasury
  • Experience with Group Reporting/Consolidation
  • Exposure to RISE with SAP or cloud-based deployments

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (a Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus). *
