Job description
As part of the Companion Device Services team, you will be foundational to the Apple Watch platform, working closely with Apple Watch software teams across the organization by building system frameworks. You will collaborate with the networking team and other cross functional partners to develop and improve the pairing and communication technologies, working with design and QA partners to help define the user facing goals of those technologies. You will play a core role in innovating and improving setup and pairing, giving new Apple Watch users their first experience on the platform.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System performance optimization?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Experience improving and expanding on existing complex projects and systems
You have defined and driven large scale projects across different levels of the stack
Minimum Qualifications
BS CE/CS or equivalent experience required
Proficient in Objective-C and Swift
Experience building high traffic system frameworks and related infrastructure
You have experience optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stack
Systems knowledge, hands-on experience with inter-process communication
You are upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude
Fantastic attention to detail

- RSU, At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
