Job description
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and reporting. This role requires deep expertise in T-SQL development and Power BI dashboard creation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing analytical and operational reporting solutions while partnering closely with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights., * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and development tasks
- Create effort estimates and document requirements in Agile/Jira environments
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Power BI solutions
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, datasets, reports, and dashboards
- Support executive reporting and ad hoc analytics requests
- Optimize reporting performance and ensure data accuracy
- Deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with T-SQL development for reporting and analytics
- Ability to write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries
- Experience working directly with large-scale relational databases and complex data models
- Strong understanding of query performance tuning and optimization
- Power BI Development
- Hands-on experience developing analytical and operational Power BI dashboards
- Expertise in dataset creation, transformation, and optimization
- Ability to develop and modify underlying SQL logic supporting Power BI reports
- Strong understanding of Power BI architecture and performance considerations
- Advanced DAX knowledge and experience optimizing tabular data models
- Data Modeling & Analytics
- Experience working with complex business rules and data relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable reporting solutions
- Experience supporting KPI reporting and executive-level dashboards, * 5+ years of experience with Power BI development
- Strong expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server environments
- Advanced DAX and data modeling experience
- Experience building enterprise reporting and analytics solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface directly with business users
- Experience working in Agile development environments, * Experience working with complex enterprise datasets
- Familiarity with healthcare or other highly regulated industry data environments
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting and KPI dashboards
