Program and configure electronic lock systems, including Dormakaba, SecuRam, and similar systems.

Program locks for production and service orders.

Troubleshoot programming, connectivity, and configuration issues.

Test programmed locks to ensure proper operation and quality.

Support Technical Support and Production teams with programming-related questions.

Maintain accurate programming records and system documentation.
Key/Core Technician
-
Cut keys according to customer specifications.

Pin, assemble, and rekey lock cores.

Build customer key systems using InstaKey and Best Access products.

Read and follow keying schedules, pinning charts, and customer specifications.

Test keys and locks to verify proper operation.
-
Assemble, label, and package completed orders.
Requirements
Blue Dot Safes is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Lock Programmer and Key/Core Technician to join our team in Pomona, CA.
This is a hands-on opportunity to learn specialized skills in electronic lock programming, key cutting, lock core assembly, rekeying, and commercial security hardware. Previous locksmith experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in accurate, high-quality work.

Physical Requirements
