Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer (Data Warehouse Architect 5) to support enterprise data modernization initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data integration, cloud migration, and analytics projects impacting critical public services.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL solutions using IBM DataStage
  • Migrate legacy DataStage workloads to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D)
  • Develop and tune complex Teradata 20 SQL/BTEQ processes
  • Create automation solutions using Python, Shell Scripting, and XML
  • Drive data quality, governance, and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
  • Collaborate with architects, DBAs, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and optimize enterprise ETL pipelines
  • Participate in Agile development and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

5+ years developing ETL solutions with IBM DataStage 3+ years with Teradata 20, SQL/BTEQ, and performance tuning 1+ year of hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) 5+ years of Unix/Linux scripting and system operations Advanced SQL expertise for analytics and ETL support Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field

  • IBM Knowledge Catalog
  • IBM Manta
  • OpenShift/Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery
  • Experience with data governance and metadata management, We’re looking for a data professional who combines deep ETL expertise with strong analytical skills and a passion for building scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions. Candidate should be local to Lansing, Michigan or able to relocate prior to starting the position.
