Job description
As a Data Warehouse Architect, you will lead enterprise data modernization initiatives by designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale ETL and data integration solutions. You will play a key role in cloud migration, data governance, data quality, and analytics initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions., * Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage for enterprise data integration and analytics.
- Support migration of on-premises ETL workloads to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).
- Develop and optimize complex SQL and BTEQ scripts within Teradata environments.
- Build automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and related technologies.
- Implement data governance, data quality, and Master Data Management (MDM) best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, DBAs, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Troubleshoot ETL workflows and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
- Support data integration across multiple enterprise systems and data sources.
- Participate in Agile delivery activities including planning, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to enterprise data architecture modernization and cloud adoption strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).
- 3+ years of experience with Teradata 20, including SQL, BTEQ, and performance optimization.
- 5+ years of Unix/Linux scripting and system administration experience.
- Strong expertise in advanced SQL development for ETL, reporting, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, XML, and automation technologies.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, MDM, and metadata management practices.
- Familiarity with IBM Knowledge Catalog, IBM Manta, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments, Agile teams, and public sector, healthcare, or highly regulated industries preferred.
