IT Support Technician / Junior Software Developer

You will provide day-to-day IT support while also assisting our team in developing a new company application. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both IT and software development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, software, mobile devices, and basic network issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows hardware and software problems.
• Assist with development and testing of our company web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain features using Python/Flask, Jinja2, REST API, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Assist with iOS development using SwiftUI/SwiftData.
• Use Git/GitHub for source-code management.
• Assist with servers, databases, cloud infrastructure, and application deployment.
• Document technical issues and solutions.

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician / Junior Software Developer to join our corporate team. This position is ideal for a college student or recent graduate in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field., * Current college student or recent graduate in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Basic experience with · Python/Flask framework, blueprints, decorators, Flask-Login, Flask-WTF/CSRF and web development.
• Basic knowledge of Jinja2 templates, · REST API.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Bootstrap
• Basic knowledge of iOs development: SwiftUI, SwiftData
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work on real-world technology projects.

Preferred:

• Linux / Ubuntu, Nginx, MySQL: command line, web server (Nginx reverse proxy), Database server (MySQL), especially Alembic SQL migrations, Gunicorn, Systemd unit files.
• Code version control: Git, GitHub
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, VPC), Cloudflare R2
• Basic security posture (OWASP Top 10)
