Minimum 8+ years of experience in Mainframe development and Production Support projects.

Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM.

Provide L1/L2 production support for Mainframe applications.

Monitor batch jobs and resolve job abends, failures, and application issues within SLA timelines.
-
Handle Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management activities.
-
Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and scheduling tools.
-
Coordinate with business users, onsite teams, and cross-functional support teams for issue resolution.

Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) and bridge calls for critical production outages.
-
Execute emergency fixes, production deployments, and validation activities.
-
Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to improve operational efficiency.
-
Prepare technical documentation, support runbooks, and knowledge management artifacts.
-
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
-
Participate in on-call and weekend support rotations as required.
Requirements

Experience with SLA-driven support environments.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service Management best practices.

Experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder communications.
