Job description
As a Scrum Master, you’ll be the catalyst for success, empowering teams to:
- Embrace agile methodologies: Foster a culture of continuous improvement using both Scrum and Kanban practices.
- Break down complex projects: Facilitate clear planning, efficient execution, and transparent delivery of key initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively: Coach and guide teams to work cohesively, fostering open communication and shared ownership.
- Deliver exceptional value: Remove roadblocks, celebrate wins, and ensure continuous learning and growth within the team.
- Become agile champions: Promote agile principles and practices across the organization, influencing cultural change for the better.
Major Responsibilities:
- Serve up new, IT focused Agile solution teams using advanced concepts and tools.
- Perform the role of Scrum Master as defined in the 2020 Scrum GuideTM.
- Collaborate with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Participate in and contribute to the Scrum Master Community of Practice.
- Establish and communicate team-level metrics.
- Support operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Certifications : Professional Scrum Master I (PSM-I) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Experience : At least 1 year of Agile development experience with at least 6 months in a formal Scrum Master role
- Experience working in an Agile work management tool such as Azure DevOps Boards (preferred), Jira, or Rally
- Experience designing and leading trainings and workshops
- Exceptional facilitation skills: Master the art of guiding productive discussions, resolving conflicts, and fostering team dynamics.
- Agile mindset: Embrace transparency, continuous improvement, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Remote Eligible Position: Will consider remote options for those who reside in WI, MN, or IA only.
- Immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available for this position.
- **Note we have varying levels of Scrum Masters and could potentially higher at a more senior level given candidate experience
