Remote Healthcare Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Scrum Master to support a portfolio of clinical applications and strategic healthcare technology initiatives, including projects such as a new Grievances & Appeals platform implementation, Care Management system consolidation efforts, and other enterprise clinical transformation programs. This individual will serve as a servant leader for Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, driving sprint planning and execution, managing dependencies, removing impediments, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business and clinical objectives. The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, clinical operations teams, technology partners, and development teams to promote Agile best practices, improve team performance, and maintain transparency across project activities. The ideal candidate will have 5-6+ years of Scrum Master experience, preferably within healthcare, health

insurance, payer, provider, or clinical application environments, along with strong expertise utilizing Agile management tools such as Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. This role requires excellent communication skills, experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives, and a proven ability to drive successful outcomes in complex, cross-functional healthcare technology environments., 5-6+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

Experience supporting healthcare, health plan, payer, provider, clinical, care management, or related healthcare technology initiatives.

Strong proficiency with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or comparable Agile project management tools.

Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release planning.

Ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams and coordinate dependencies across business and technical stakeholders.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills with a track record of delivering complex technology projects. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification.

Experience supporting Grievances & Appeals, Care Management, Utilization Management, Case Management, or other clinical application platforms.

Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and related healthcare standards.
