Job description

Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket, TeamCity, etc.) to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
Manage release branching strategies, merge schedules, and versioning conventions across multiple teams and repositories
Coordinate release planning and scheduling with engineering, QA, and product stakeholders
Own the release runbook process - documenting deployment steps and rollback procedures
Monitor deployments and drive post-release validation; lead root cause analysis for release failures
Collaborate with platform/DevOps teams to maintain environment parity between dev, staging, and production
Drive continuous improvement in release frequency, lead time, and deployment success rate

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a release engineering, DevOps, or build engineering role
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
Solid understanding of Git workflows - branching models, tagging, cherry-pick strategies, and conflict resolution
Familiarity with containerization and o
rchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar
Strong communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous release trains
