Test Engineer

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Test Engineer to join them. You will report to the Test Development Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia., * Develop written test and inspection procedures from customer specifications and drawing packages

• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate test methods and verify accuracy of test instructions
• Support production personnel to resolve technical issues during manufacturing, isolate cause of test failures, and provide feedback on proposed solutions
• Perform test equipment gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GRR)
• Monitor test equipment performance; support root cause and corrective action (RCCA) of test anomalies

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering also considered with strong electrical background).
• Technical Literacy with electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools; oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc
• Ability to troubleshoot and isolate hardware failures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Additional Skills of Interests
• Knowledge of Problem-Solving Frameworks and RCCA efforts
• Knowledge of programming structures and algorithms
• Experience with LabVIEW or Python is advantageous

Salary Range Transparency: Blacksburg, VA $60,000.00-$80,000.00 Annually
