Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you design space-grade, high-reliability embedded hardware from concept to production. You will work on secure processing systems, FPGA solutions, and dense storage modules for space, airborne, and defense platforms. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mission readiness and reduce integration risk. This position offers the chance to influence hardware architecture for mission-critical systems and contribute to national security objectives. You will operate in a rigorous, aerospace-focused environment with opportunities to lead hardware development activities. Compensation / Benefits * Develop board-level digital circuits and modules from concept through production to meet space-grade requirements * Manage embedded hardware development including compute, storage modules, and high-reliability space designs * Design high-performance PCBs using space-qualified components * Verify design quality via peer reviews, testing, and verification to ensure mission readiness * Collaborate with manufacturing on board build issues and participate in DFM/DFT and failure investigations * Create detailed schematics using Cadence DEHDL and coordinate with CAD/SI teams during PCB layout Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent * Minimum 2 years in board-level hardware design, manufacturing, or sustaining roles * Experience designing embedded digital hardware with microprocessors, FPGAs, or high-speed network components * Proficiency in electronic circuit design, schematic capture, troubleshooting digital/analog/power circuits; understanding of signal integrity for high-speed designs * Must be able to obtain a government security clearance (U.S. citizen) Key requirements * tuition reimbursement * comprehensive skills training * casual and enjoyable atmosphere * lifelong learning culture * opportunity to work on mission-critical systems * equal opportunity employer
