Job description

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows using low-code/no-code automation platforms and internal business systems.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency across departments.
  • Help implement and maintain AI-driven agents and automated processes to support business operations.
  • Assist internal teams in gathering requirements and implementing practical, scalable solutions.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
  • Monitor automation performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable operation.
  • Assist departments with identifying technical solutions that improve productivity and accuracy.

Systems Administration & Technical Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for internal applications, business systems, and operational tools.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot software platforms and user accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform system testing and validation for new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Perform ongoing system maintenance, data updates, and administrative tasks related to internal tools and workflows.
  • Support data imports, exports, validation, and quality assurance activities.

API & Integration Support

  • Assist internal teams and consortium members with API onboarding and technical questions.
  • Help troubleshoot API connectivity, authentication, and data exchange issues.
  • Work with development partners to document API requirements and integration processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation related to APIs and system integrations.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to development resources as appropriate.

Project Support

  • Participate in cross-functional technology and business improvement projects.
  • Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and technology rollouts.
  • Track project tasks, timelines, testing activities, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with deployment activities.

Member & Internal Support

  • Respond to technical inquiries from consortium members in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance on system functionality, integrations, and best practices.
  • Develop training materials and assist with user education as new tools and features are introduced.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between business stakeholders and development resources., As a Technical Solutions & Automation Specialist, you will play an important role in helping our travel consortium operate more efficiently while supporting innovative technology initiatives that benefit both our internal teams and member agencies. You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple technologies, improve business processes, and contribute directly to the organization’s digital transformation.

Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Technical Solutions & Automation Specialist to support internal operations, improve business processes, and deliver technical solutions that enhance organizational efficiency. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys solving problems, building automated workflows, and collaborating across multiple departments to streamline day-to-day operations.

The exempt position focuses primarily on internal systems, workflow automation, and operational support while also assisting with API-related inquiries and member-facing technical needs when required. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting business applications, systems administration, technical operations, or process automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work with varied technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience documenting technical processes and business workflows.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with APIs, REST services, JSON, and API testing tools such as Postman.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Monday.com, Zapier, Make, Workato, or similar solutions.
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic database concepts.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, CMS, or member management systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform.
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications and cloud-based business systems.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Experience in the travel, hospitality, tourism, or membership association industry is highly desirable.
