Clinical Research Data Analyst

• Collect, review, validate, and manage clinical research data.
• Use SQL and informatics tools to extract, query, clean, and analyze research datasets.
• Prepare data reports, summaries, and dashboards for investigators and sponsors.
• Maintain case report forms, enrollment tracking, and regulatory documentation.
• Support compliance tasks, data quality oversight, and audit readiness.
• Assist with feasibility assessments, workflow improvements, and protocol-related documentation in compliance with VA and Department of Defense (DOD) requirements.
• Support the multiple research projects underway as needed.

The Cincinnati Education and Research for Veterans Foundation (CERV) is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Data Analyst to support Veteran-focused clinical research. This role works onsite within the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and collaborates closely with investigators, regulatory staff, and study teams to manage research data and support analytics needs., * Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, data science, biology, public health, computer science, or related field is preferred but not required.

• Required experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation. A demonstration of SQL proficiency may be requested.

• Preferred experience with healthcare or clinical trial data systems (REDCap, EMR, CTMS, etc.).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred: Experience in clinical research, biostatistics, VA systems, regulatory compliance, or government-funded research programs.
