Job description

  • Administer and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and backups
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and wireless networks
  • Monitor security events and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat hunting, and security reviews
  • Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts
  • Automate routine processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Partner with departments across the organization to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen infrastructure performance, security, and resilience

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, and VPN technologies
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices, including SIEM platforms, firewalls, vulnerability management, and incident response
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A passion for technology, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNA, Security+, Network+, VMware, Microsoft, or related certifications
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure management tools
  • Experience working in environments where security and infrastructure responsibilities overlap
