Job description

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join KGS Technology Group’s Developer team. As a Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company’s databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. This position is vital for the smooth operation of our IT systems and the success of various projects., As a Database Administrator at KGS Technology Group, you will be involved in designing, implementing, and monitoring database systems. You will work on diverse projects that require efficient data management, security, and troubleshooting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company’s technological advancement and growth., * Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements.

  • Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize as needed.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate data from various systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures.
  • Perform regular system updates and patches.
  • Assist in data migration and transformation projects.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Experience in database design, normalization, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot database issues and performance problems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
