Job description

We’re hiring an experienced QA/QC Specialist to support one of the nation’s fastest-growing data center construction projects in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

If you have a strong background in structured cabling, fiber optics, and quality inspections, and take pride in delivering work that meets the highest standards, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing mission-critical contractor with a clear path to permanent employment.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily QA/QC inspections of fiber and copper cabling installations
  • Verify that installations meet project drawings, customer requirements, and industry standards
  • Inspect rack elevations, cable routing, labeling, testing, and terminations
  • Document deficiencies and track corrective actions
  • Review testing documentation and turnover packages
  • Work closely with Project Managers, field supervisors, and installation teams to maintain quality throughout the project

Requirements

  • 3+ years of QA/QC experience in structured cabling or data center construction
  • Strong understanding of fiber optic and copper cabling systems
  • Experience reading construction drawings and rack elevations
  • Working knowledge of ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, * BICSI Installer 2 or Technician certification
  • Hyperscale or colocation data center experience
  • Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar software
  • Fiber testing experience using OTDR and power meter equipment
