Job description

  • Design and integrate secure, high-performance network architectures supporting complex communications systems.
  • Develop network requirements, architectures, schematics, configurations, and equipment selections.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Support system integration, verification/validation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Implement cybersecurity requirements for sensitive and classified network environments.
  • Work across Windows, Linux, virtualization, and containerized environments.
  • Provide technical leadership within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Network Systems Engineer to design, integrate, test, and support secure communications networks across complex mission environments. This role requires strong hands-on networking expertise combined with systems engineering experience and the ability to work across hardware, software, cyber, and infrastructure teams., * BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree or equivalent experience considered.

  • Strong expertise with TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching, firewalls, and network security.
  • Experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN/IPSec, QoS, multicast, and network troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies; Cisco experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux, VMware, Kubernetes or container environments.
  • Experience with RMF, STIGs, secure communications, or classified network environments preferred.
  • Security+ / CISSP and CCNA or similar certifications are highly desirable.
  • Military communications, SATCOM, tactical networking, or COMSEC experience is a plus.
