Job description

Design, integrate, configure, and troubleshoot secure military communication networks
Develop network architectures, schematics, hardware selections, and software configurations
Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, servers, virtual environments, and containerized infrastructure
Support TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, network security, and cybersecurity requirements
Participate in system requirements, verification, validation, integration, and testing
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers, SMEs, and subcontractors
Support Windows, Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, and related network environments

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 4+ years
Equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Strong experience with network design, architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and multicast
Experience with network security, firewalls, access controls, and secure communications Preferred Qualifications
Security+, CISSP, CCNA, or similar certifications
Cisco IOS/IOS-XE experience
Experience with Splunk, Cisco ISE, Firepower Management Center, SNMP, SSH, RADIUS/TACACS
Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, VMware, Rancher, Kubernetes, Windows, and Linux
Experience with military communications technologies such as HAIPE/TACLANE, COMSEC/CRYPTO, tactical radios, CDL, ANW2, or SATCOM
Experience with Cisco Unified Communications, VoIP, or VTC
