Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will advance neural network-based vision systems within a manufacturing setting, collaborating with product owners, tech leads, and quality teams. You will implement and refine solutions that meet performance and compliance needs, and guide users of vision and neural net applications. You’ll contribute to system configuration, software development, and testing to improve manufacturing quality and system effectiveness. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and quality teams to capture and interpret requirements * Maintain and enhance existing neural network and vision system customizations on site * Design and implement NN/vision solutions based on technology and business needs * Install and configure NVIDIA X-Desktop environments and related components * Execute enhancement requests, including model year updates and quality monitoring * Provide technical guidance and support to users of neural net and vision applications * Develop, document, and execute test cases including system and user acceptance testing * Apply software development best practices and engineering processes * Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure operational and quality requirements are met * Assist with integration of vision systems with controls and manufacturing equipment Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field * Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or software development * Experience with industrial vision systems such as Cognex or Keyence * Proficiency in Python, C#, or C++ * Basic understanding of PLCs and controls integration with vision systems * Knowledge of networking concepts (IP structure, device networks, switches, routers) * Ability to read CAD drawings with AutoCAD or SolidWorks * Understanding of basic electrical installation requirements * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills * Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication * Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements * This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship Key requirements * competitive compensation * profit-sharing plan * Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) * 401(k) with matching * health, dental, vision insurance * paid time off (PTO) and wellness programs/assistance
