You will also ensure the overall effectiveness of components, and evaluate, recommend, and implement cost effective improvements that will increase utility, functionality, and/or effectiveness of said components.Your contributions will directly impact our EMEA business units and functions, as you work on developing and refining new and existing infrastructure.

* Installation, troubleshooting, operation, adjustment, support, monitoring and testing of x86/x64 servers (MS Windows) and our VMware and Azure Cloud based virtualized environment* General system monitoring and monitoring of system performance (i.E. with Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager)* Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues* Ensuring of availability and performance of all systems the team is responsible for* Supporting different areas of IT Infrastructure across departmental borders* Working closely on group wide IT initiatives* Autonomous creation of concepts and documentations and setup of theseWhat we are looking for:* Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, an equivalent education or a long-standing experience in IT Infrastructure operation* Strong hard- & software troubleshooting skills* Proficient in MS operating systems, Server ******* Strong skills in server virtualization - especially in VMware and Azure Cloud environments* Experience of Active Directory, DHCP & DNS, SCOM, Storage Systems, LAN, SAN, TCP/IP Networking Principles, Backup and Virtualization Technologies* Flexibility to work in a shift work environment* Self-initiative and ability to work in a team* Willingness to learn* Excellent communication skills* Good verbal and written EnglishWhat’s in it for you?
