Civil Engineering Support Specialist - Colorado

• Design & Planning: Lead the planning and design of multi-phase construction and renovation projects, including the preparation of detailed calculations, cost estimates, technical drawings, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Technical Consultancy: Serve as a primary coordinator between engineers, architects, and agencies (like the Army Corps of Engineers) to integrate technical requirements and resolve field issues.
• Execution & Oversight: Plan and execute engineering projects using Government cost-estimating tools (AFCAMP); provide bi-weekly technical recommendations on constructability and project submittals.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Collect and analyze field data using CADD, GIS, and BIM to support facility condition assessments and long-range infrastructure priorities.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of federal/state codes, environmental laws, and health/safety standards (AFOSH).
• Software Proficiency: High degree of skill in engineering automation software and drafting techniques for preparing complete project documentation, * Do you possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) AND at least 5 years of experience?
