Job description

Leyden Solutions Inc is looking for a talented and driven Database Specialist Level II to join our team. If you thrive on solving complex data challenges and want to grow your career with a forward-thinking company, we want to hear from you!, * Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational database systems

Monitor database performance, conduct tuning, and optimize queries for efficiency
Develop and enforce database security policies, access controls, and backup/recovery procedures
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to support data modeling and schema design
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks
Perform regular database maintenance, patching, and version upgrades
Document database configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures

Requirements

2+ years of experience in database administration or a related database specialist role
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server
Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Strong understanding of data security, access management, and compliance best practices
Ability to obtain or currently hold a relevant security clearance (in order to access client systems)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Remote work environment
