Job description
The Vice-President of Enrollment Management provides executive leadership for Catholic Memorial’s full enrollment lifecycle, from market development and admission through matriculation, re-enrollment, retention, and family success through graduation. The Vice-President leads the Enrollment Office and financial aid strategy while establishing an intentional institutional connection between the promises made during recruitment and the lived experience of students and families after enrollment. The role is responsible for ensuring that every stage of the enrollment journey has clear ownership, measurable goals, and coordinated follow-through.
Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the President’s Leadership Team, the Vice-President works collaboratively across Catholic Memorial to ensure that enrollment strategy, student and family experience, tuition and financial aid strategy, market positioning, and institutional priorities remain aligned with the school’s mission and long-term strength.
The Vice-President is both a strategist and a visible practitioner: a senior leader who can interpret market and enrollment data, shape institutional strategy, lead and develop a high-performing team, and remain personally connected to prospective and current families and to the daily work of enrollment.

- Ensure that recruitment, admission, financial aid, retention, and family engagement practices reflect the dignity of each person, the school’s commitment to access, and its mission of forming young men of depth and conviction.
- Articulate Catholic Memorial’s mission and distinctive value proposition compellingly to prospective families, current families, feeder schools, and community partners.
- Model Gospel values in leadership style, decision-making, communication, and relationships.
- Develop and lead a comprehensive, multi-year enrollment strategy aligned with Catholic Memorial’s mission, enrollment targets, market position, and long-range financial goals.
- Lead the Enrollment Office, including recruitment, evaluation, decision-making, yield, financial aid strategy, onboarding, enrollment forecasting, and enrollment operations.
- Supervise and develop the Enrollment Managers and the Director of Enrollment Operations, establishing clear ownership, goals, accountability, and collaboration across the team.
- Partner with the President, Principal, CFO, and fellow Leadership Team members on enrollment trends, competitive positioning, tuition and financial aid strategy, retention, and institutional priorities.
- Provide regular enrollment reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to the President, Leadership Team, and, as appropriate, the Board of Trustees.
- Contribute substantively to school-wide strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the President’s Leadership Team.
- Maintain direct involvement in recruitment, tours, interviews, applicant review, admissions events, decision-making, and yield so that senior leadership remains close to families and the market.
- Lead financial aid strategy and allocation in partnership with the President and CFO, ensuring that aid resources advance access, mission, enrollment goals, and responsible stewardship.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to sharpen Catholic Memorial’s value proposition, enrollment messaging, market research, digital recruitment strategy, and competitive differentiation.
- Develop enrollment forecasts, scenario planning, funnel analysis, and market analysis to support annual and long-range decision-making.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with feeder schools, parishes, community organizations, educational consultants, alumni, and other partners who can strengthen Catholic Memorial’s enrollment reach.
- Ensure enrollment systems, CRM practices, data integrity, communications, and workflows support a responsive and highly professional family experience.
- Build a culture in which enrollment success is understood as shared institutional work while maintaining clear accountability within the Enrollment Office.
- Serve as a visible, trusted representative of Catholic Memorial with prospective families, current families, students, feeder schools, alumni, and community partners.
- Work closely with academic, student-life, athletics, advancement, finance, and communications leaders to ensure a coherent and compelling student and family experience.
- Maintain a highly visible presence at enrollment and school events, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in educational leadership, business, enrollment management, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Significant and progressively responsible leadership experience in enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, student/family success, or a comparable mission-driven setting; independent, private, or Catholic school experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing teams and contributing strategically to institutional planning across multiple functional areas.
- Demonstrated understanding of enrollment strategy, financial aid, market dynamics, retention, data analysis, family decision-making, and the competitive independent-school landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data, market intelligence, and stakeholder feedback into strategy, priorities, and measurable action.
- Strong executive communication skills and the ability to present effectively to senior leadership, families, community partners, and governing bodies.
- Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the ability to articulate and advance Catholic Memorial’s mission and Edmund Rice tradition.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with students, families, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, events, budgets, and confidential information.
