Application Support Engineer in Newbury

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support for key business applications, working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party software providers to resolve issues, coordinate system updates and contribute to ongoing improvements., n \n

• Provide support for a range of business-critical applications. \n

• Investigate and resolve application-related issues. \n

• Coordinate software updates, patches and deployments with third-party suppliers. \n

• Support system upgrades, testing and new feature releases. \n

• Assist with user acceptance testing and maintain system documentation. \n

• Monitor application performance and help maintain data quality. \n

• Work with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and identify system improvements. \n

• Contribute to application and business systems projects. \n

• Previous experience in an Application Support, Systems Support or similar role. \n

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \n

• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical users. \n

• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \n

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard desktop applications.
