In this role, you’ll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support AV needs for meetings, and ensure new hires are set up for success from day one. You’ll work closely with teams across the company, delivering thoughtful, high-quality support with a strong focus on customer service. It’s a great opportunity to build your IT skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Mac and Windows laptops, as well as iOS and Android devices, in person and remotely.
  • Configure and deploy hardware so new employees have the necessary equipment on day one.
  • Facilitate IT onboarding presentations for new hires, walking through equipment, accounts, and support resources.
  • Support user-facing identity and access management requests, such as login issues, access requests, and provisioning delays, within our Okta and SailPoint environment.
  • Manage user accounts in Google Workspace, including confirming email addresses, updating distribution lists, and handling shared resources.
  • Set up, monitor, and provide live support for audio-visual systems during company meetings and events, ensuring a smooth experience for hosts and attendees.
  • Arrange warranty repairs, maintain stockrooms, and perform physical asset counts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including white-glove support for executive or VIP users.
  • Follow existing how-to guides and process documentation, and flag gaps or outdated steps to the team.
  • Eagerly learn IT processes and procedures, adapting quickly to new technologies and embracing change.

Requirements

  • Having 0-2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Loving to help people and having excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Troubleshooting mainstream desktop and mobile operating systems, as well as common applications like Chrome, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Comfort running or supporting AV setups for live meetings and events.
  • Communicating effectively with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Being organized and able to multitask and manage your time effectively in a high-ticket-volume environment.
  • Working well independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Being a motivated self-starter who picks up new skills quickly.
  • Demonstrating a bias for action by proactively addressing issues.
