Software Engineer, Quality

• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing according to established software verification protocols.
• Perform manual testing on medical device instrument user interfaces to verify intended functionality.
• Document test results and prepare software verification reports in accordance with quality procedures.
• Log, track, and manage software defects using established defect management processes.
• Assist in developing and maintaining test traceability matrices to demonstrate software requirement coverage.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate testing progress and defect status.
• Follow Software Quality Engineering (SQE) procedures and regulated software development processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related technical field.
• 0-3 years of software testing, quality engineering, or related industry experience.
• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and manual testing techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL for basic database queries.
• Exposure to software verification of graphical user interfaces (GUI), middle-tier applications, or technologies such as WPF, WinForms, or XAML is a plus.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); experience in FDA, ISO, or other regulated environments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds and perform prolonged sitting, standing, and walking as needed.
• Background check and other pre-employment screenings may be required.
