Job description

We are seeking a motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team in Los Angeles. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work on both front-end and back-end development, contributing to our modern, modular platform while solving complex technical challenges and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.

You’ll be matched with a manager and mentors who will guide your professional development as you work in an agile environment alongside experienced engineers., * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Django, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Implement features through use-case-driven design for both internal tools and client-facing solutions
  • Work collaboratively in an agile software development team environment
  • Build and optimize front-end interfaces with strong attention to UX/UI principles
  • Develop robust back-end services and APIs using Django and Python
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and design solutions for their specific needs
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related technical discipline
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Python and Django framework
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with full-stack web development principles
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Los Angeles area
  • Must be a U.S. citizen (Industry Software is not sponsoring visas at this time)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar)
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Python scripting and automation experience
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for technology and ability to navigate complex, rapidly changing landscapes
  • Detail-oriented and organized with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Confidence to express new ideas and contribute to technical innovation
